My new kit from Twin Cities Drum Shells and Percussion! Mahogany with a maple interior. The bass will have mahogany hoops. Drum sizes are 18” x 14” kick, 12” x 8” tom, 14” x 14” floor tom and a 14” x 5-1/2” snare. It’s going to a really cool ‘jazz’ configuration with a good punchy sound, but a warm tone.
Obviously still not finished. The shells need to be sanded, stained, and mounted with hardware and heads. Then, they’re on their way! I’m stoked to be playing for these guys.
